Mounting kit for manhole covers - HECO Multi-Monti-plus

The MULTI-MONTI-plus (MMS-plus) screw anchor measures 7.5 x 50 mm and is particularly suitable for use with our Varile manhole covers up to class A50 (up to 5 tons). It is screwed directly into a pre-drilled hole (6 mm) without the need for anchors and is immediately load-bearing .

The reinforced serration on the screw tip easily cuts an internal thread into the concrete when screwed in. Unlike with a normal dowel or concrete anchor, the substrate is not forced apart and placed under permanent tension. This not only allows for use close to the edge without chipping or cracking, perfect for a narrow concrete ring, but also simplifies the installation process and guarantees the tradesperson a high degree of application safety. Accidental hammer blows to the hand, manhole cover, or concrete substrate are thus completely avoided! The MULTI-MONTI-plus concrete screw can be installed without a torque wrench, is completely removable, and reusable after testing. All that is required is a T-40 bit (included with the Varile manhole covers). This can be used in a ratchet wrench or an impact wrench (recommended maximum power output of the impact wrench, Tmax1 120 Nm).
